From fun runs to wildflowers, Pleasanton & Tri-Valley is blooming with outdoor activities for all
Runners take to the trails and pathways just about year-round here in Pleasanton because of our enviable climate. But now that it’s mid-March and spring has definitely arrived, several organized charitable runs are popping up on Tri-Valley calendars.
- St. Patrick’s Day Fun Run in Dublin – March 13-19
- PPIE Pleasant Run for Education – April 10-17
- 24 Hour Race San Francisco 2021 – April 17 & 18
Whether you run your race virtually or find a local trail for a leisurely IRL (in real life) stroll, the weather in Northern California is beckoning us to find a reason to be outside.
In any event, we have a good five days of St. Patrick’s Day-themed events before we begin settling into regular spring activity in Pleasanton filled with flowers in gardens, plantings, and even alongside the roads. We’re very fortunate to live in a valley that’s a regional destination for viewing spring wildflowers…and in coming weeks, we’ll boast our most lovely blooms.
Besides roadside and miscellaneous field flowers, several areas are known for lovely displays every year via a number of easy walks or hikes to find colorful views. We’re always happy to help our guests find just the right one where you can stroll and take in the sights as well as snap photos for those social media posts!
It’s an exceptional time of year to visit and enjoy a getaway weekend — or middle of the week escape/treat, if it’s right for your schedule! Whenever you choose to visit, remember, our team at The Rose Hotel is here to make your getaway easy and incredibly relaxing in every way.
Whether it’s walks or hikes to see wildflowers or a guide to several beautiful shops and other purveyors of beautiful blooms (both “real” and … crafted!), we know where the best are.
And we’re absolutely positive you’ll love spring in our beautiful valley! Come and see!
