From Feb. 14 through April 23, the Uncle Credit Union Gallery at Livermore Valley Arts will host a retrospective of the Bay Area Figurative movement and its influence on art today. Drink for a Good Cause
Livermore’s craft breweries are collaborating again this year on a batch of cheekily named Livermoron IPA to support the Alameda County Community Food Bank.
All proceeds from the Livermoron Brew Crawl and Food Drive 5-10 p.m. on Feb. 16 will raise money to fight food insecurity; last year, it was able to pay for 3,000 meals!

Spend ‘An Evening with Marlee Matlin’
Award-winning actress and producer Marlee Matlin, most recently acclaimed for her film Coda, which won the Oscar for best picture in 2022, will appear at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 16 at the Bankhead Theater, 2400 First St., Livermore. An Evening with Marlee Matlin promises that “We’ll come away informed and empowered to make a difference in the world, with the knowledge that we can begin by changing just one person’s life,” according to Livermore Arts.
