Need a relaxing weekend? We have it covered at The Rose Hotel in Pleasanton
The beautiful spring weather and re-emergence of community activities throughout Pleasanton and the Tri Valley tells us that tourism is returning to Northern California.
On May 14-16, the Silicon Valley Horse Show will be one of the first bigger events to return to the nearby Alameda County Fairgrounds. The Alameda County Fair itself is scheduled to return in the fall from Oct. 22-31.
And, to make our downtown more accessible during the coming spring and summer months, Weekends on Main is returning starting April 30. The program, sponsored by the Downtown Pleasanton Association, closes Main Street to traffic each weekend from 3 p.m. Friday to 9 p.m. Sunday. On Memorial and Labor days, the closures will extend to Monday evenings. Click HERE for a map of the closure plus additional details.
Wake up to the smell of coffee in the lobby or brew your own with the in-room coffee service. Lounge around in our plush robes and comfy slippers or enjoy a spectacular continental breakfast before heading out to explore the Pleasanton area.
There are plenty of options for shopping, dining, tasting and culture, many within walking distance of our location on Main Street.
On Saturday mornings, take a short walk from our front doors to load up on fresh fruits and veggies or handmade crafts and gifts at the Pleasanton Farmer’s Market, a part of the network of farms and farmers that make up the Pacific Coast Farmers’ Market.
You may wish to explore some of the smaller wineries currently opening once again to visitors such as Ruby Hill Winery and Wente Vineyards. We’re happy to help you identify which places to visit.
When you return, we can suggest several excellent dining options among downtown Pleasanton’s numerous delicious cafes and restaurants. Or you can grab a quick night cap from the Rose Hotel Pleasanton bar before tucking in for the night.
On Sunday, grab your clubs and hit the links. Besides the Pleasanton Golf Center, there are more than 50 nearby courses from which you can select your favorite style of golfing experience. After 18 holes, relax in your room with a jet tub bath and our own organic bathing toiletries.
Our goal is to take care of all the little details and make your stay pleasurable, relaxing, and rewarding. We’re looking forward to seeing you – and we’re ready and happy to help you plan exactly the weekend retreat you need.
