Along the Caffeine Trail, you can sip at nearly two dozen shops specializing in caffeinated drinks, featuring everything from artisanal espressos (made with specially sourced and roasted beans) to bubble tea, a unique drink made with tapioca pearls. Boba tea, which originated in Taiwan during the 1980s, has become increasingly popular over the past several years in the United State.
If you take photos of at least four different experiences, you could win an artistic Tri-Valley mug. Participants don’t need to visit all four emporiums in one day. Sample drinks over the course of a leisurely long weekend visit in Downtown Pleasanton.
